    • This course introduces students to the fundamentals of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, focusing on developing practical digital skills. Through step-by-step lessons, hands-on activities, and project-based tasks, learners gain confidence in creating, editing, and presenting digital documents for academic, personal, and future workplace use.

      PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE IS FOR EVERYONE, BE IT HIGH SCHOOL LEARNERS, UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS.

      •  Create and format documents

      •  Save, download, print and share documents.

      LESSON 2 : EXCEL

      • Create simple spreadsheets using rows and columns
      • Enter data in cells clearly and accurately
      • Organize data in cells Use formulars
      • Create graphs
      LESSON 3 : POWERPOINT
      • Design and organize basic presentation with multiple slides
      • Insert text, images and other media in slides
      • Apply themes, transitions, and animations
      • Present and share a completed slide show

      1. Problem- centered-In this section, students are supposed to start  this course by having the ability to engage in a real-world activities.
      2. Activation - Students are required to reflect on what they already know in relation to the course content.
      3. Demonstration - For each lesson in this course, according to this course, students are shown how it is done, eg. through videos.
      4. Application - Students apply what they learned through completion of activities or assessments.
      5. Integration - This is the integration of the learned content to real world scenarios or daily life tasks.

      This unit introduces students to Microsoft Word of Google Docs. It is about the creation and formatting of documents using Word. This includes text formatting, adding tables, images, graphs and spelling check, and page layout.

    • LESSON 2 : EXCEL

      This unit/lesson focuses on spreadsheets for organizing, analyzing and visualizing data. Students will understand how to enter data , use formulars and create graphs using excel.

      In this unit/lesson, students will learn how to create presentations or slides, adding text, images and animations and transitions in PowerPoint.

      Microsoft Word
      • Write a formal letter using Microsoft word to parents of the grade 12 learners to inform them about a meeting that will take place on Friday about Additional classes that will take place on Weekends. Make use of mail merge. (Correct formatting, structure and professionalism are essential.)
      Excel
      • As a grade 10 Accounting teacher, create a gradebook where you will input learners’ test 1 and 2 marks to calculate the average, maximum and minimum of their marks. And identify lower performing learners by highlighting them in red.

    • In this course, learners were introduced to the core Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. They learned how to create and format professional documents in Word, including inserting images, tables, and links, and applying layout features like headers and footers. In Excel, learners explored spreadsheet creation, accurate data entry, organization of information in cells, application of basic formulas (e.g., SUM, AVERAGE), and creation of simple graphs and charts. With PowerPoint, learners developed presentations by designing multiple slides, adding multimedia elements, applying themes and animations, and practicing how to present their work effectively. Across all three tools, students built essential digital literacy, practiced organizing and presenting information clearly, and developed hands-on skills that are directly applicable to academic, personal, and professional tasks.
